This product is the Calmag Scale Inhibitor Refills for CalPhos SI-PHOS R. These inhibitors refills come in a pack of 6. They need to be replaced once every three to six months depending on the usage. Please check Calmag Datasheets for references.

How to replace the cartridge:

Close the CalPhos water supply either at the mains or alternatively by closing the built-in bypass valve on top of the unit.Release any air from the unit by unscrewing the bleed screw.Unscrew the fixing ring nut and remove the bowl from the unit.Remove the exhausted cartridge and rinse out the bowl and housing with warm water.Remove the cap off the new cartridge refill and insert into the housing.Fix the bowl to the housing ensuring that care is taken and that the ‘O’ ring is securely in position. Use the spanner to tighten but do not over-tighten.Open the built-in bypass valve to let water in or open up the mains water supply.Check for leaks. Open the bleed screw on the front of the unit to remove any airlocks in the system and then close the bleed screw when complete
