  1. Description of Salamander TapBoost Single Outlet Booster Pump 240V:

Boosts the water flow of a single outlet to 7 – 12 litres per minute, depending on incoming flow. TapBoost has been developed to provide a solution to a mains or gravity fed single outlet suffering with poor water performance. TapBoost operates at 12V DC which is supplied via a 240V AC power supply unit.

TapBoost provides an easy solution for a slow flowing kitchen tap, a trickling bathroom tap or if you’re tired of waiting for the toilet cistern to refill. The pump can be fitted at multiple locations around the house, including bathroom and kitchen sinks, bath taps, garden taps, toilet cisterns, dishwashers, washing machines and showers.

TapBoost is also quiet and its inline design with robust brass fittings makes it easy to install in either a mains-fed or a gravity-fed system.
  2. Features of Salamander TapBoost Single Outlet Booster Pump 240V:

✔ Boosts water flow to a single outlet to 7-11 Ltr/min
    ✔ Very quiet in operation
✔ Compact design for fitting in tight spaces
✔ Fitted to either a hot or cold outlet

I bought this pump to boost the flow to a kitchen mixer tap. Prior to installation the flow rate was 2.4Lpm, after it was an improved but disappointing 3.6lps, way off the hoped for 11lpm and also not as good as the 7/8lps that the pump’s leaflet side it was easy to install, subject to power availability, very compact, and when working, quiet. Comes complete with the fittings to connect to 15mm pipe on the inlet side, but the outlet requires a Female 15MM X ½" coupler which isn’t supplied.

Excellent product. Fitted very quickly and easily. Produced a satisfactory rather than high pressure flow. did the job!

So far so good. The pump was easily installed and produced 2.3 times increase in flow rate of the kitchen hot water which had become unacceptable when a replacement tap with flexi-tails was fitted. Wouldn't say the pump is silent, but the sound is not particularly obtrusive and I suspect we'll stop noticing it before long.

Quality product from a great brand. Have had a shower pump installed for 15 plus years from Salalmander and it has lived up to its "fit and Forget" logo. The tap boost pump was easy to fit and has solver a low pressure /flow problem on a kitchen gravity fed hot tap.

Bought the pump to boost the flow to a kitchen mixer tap. Very disappointed with results. The instructions say 'Some outlets are naturally restrictive and TapBoost may not be able to add additional flow'. Seems modern kitchen mixer taps are naturally restrictive. At 0.5 bar pressure the flow through my tap without TapBoost was 2.4 litres/min, with TapBoost 3.2 litres/min, no where near the maximum of 11 litres/min advertised, well below the recommended minimum of 4 litres/min. Not impressed.
