The Salus BPV100 22mm Auto Bypass Valve is an important component of any heating system especially when the boiler does not have an automatic bypass fitted internally. The Auto Bypass is suitable for system that have thermostatic valves and it's usually fitted between the flow & return to ensure that a minimum flow is maintained on central heating systems with thermostatic valves.

Auto Bypass also reduces the noise level in the heating systems by correcting the circulation of the central heating system.

The BPV100 opens only when the system pressure dictates. This will increase the system efficiency as well as eliminating any system noise.

A lot of boiler manufacturers demand that the circulation of water through the boiler heat exchangers should not fall below a certain limit, regardless of system load The BPV100 will open and close to suit the system. The BPV100 is pressure operated.
