I haven't tried it yet, but it arrived well packaged with very clear and simple instructions. My installation is the simplest because I have a clear downpipe run of 3 metres before a stop valve, so no expansion tank or other gizmos required. I checked the water pressure beforehand and it is ideal at 3.5 bar, so that removes other complications too.
It worth a look at if you want hot water without long expensive and wasteful pipe runs.

Bought as a replacement for an older model - pleased that it was a direct swap but is apparently more efficient. The old one started leaking around the element aperture and a new gasket did not fix it - even with silicone added on subsequent attempts. This new one has an alternative flange design that looks more sympathetic to adding silicone when its time comes!

Shame they don't include proper fittings. The included dielectric fittings to prevent accelerated corrosion are too short to seal against any available brass compression adapter. If you put three rubber seals in on top of each other, you can just about get a bite but I wasn't happy with that bodge.

I had to have them adapted by our local engineering firm. I shouldn't have to though, and I can totally see why lazy plumbers will just throw away the dielectric fittings and go straight onto brass.
