    External condensate pipe work needs to be insulated in a tough PVC coated weather protected covering to avoid UV degradation and animal damage. Boiler installation standards BS 6798-2104 makes specific reference to this grade of insulation. ASHP and Biomass Boilers tend to be located externally and this hot water pipe work needs to be protected and insulated to avoid heat loss, MIS3005 and building regulations advise a certain thickness of insulation to meet heat loss requirements. Our PVC coated range helps installations comply in both boiler condensate and ASHP installations.
