A silence tube makes the Hydroflo one of the quietest toilet fill valves. A unique key is provided for simple and safe removal of the filter. The unique float arm makes it impossible for the float to become detached. Two built in backflow prevention devices provide assured safety.

It failed to shut off the water supply when the tank was full. On further investigation of the instructions it referred to a washer and second back nut, neither of which was present in the package. I am not sure why the item is not working but feel like it is a lot simpler and more reliable to get an old-fashioned ballcock system.
