Monitor your heating over the next few days after making the adjustment. If your rooms are slow to warm up or not heating sufficiently, slightly increase the flow temperature until it is comfortable.

2/ Find the radiator valve. This is usually located at the top of one of the sides of the radiator.  
3/ Get a radiator key or a flat-headed screwdriver that fits the valve.  
4/ Put a cloth or towel under the valve to catch any drips.  
5/ Insert the radiator key or screwdriver into the valve and turn it anti-clockwise.
6/ You will hear a hissing sound as the air escapes from the radiator.
7/ Once water starts to drip out, quickly turn the valve clockwise to close it.  
8/ Wipe up any water that has escaped and check the pressure on your boiler if necessary.  
9/ Turn on your central heating system and check if the radiator is heating up correctly.
Topping up the Pressure of Your Boiler
 
Your boiler's pressure should be set to a specific level, and if it falls below this level, your heating system may not work correctly. Therefore, it's essential to check the pressure of your boiler regularly and top it up if necessary.   You can do this by using the filling loop, which is usually located underneath your boiler. If you find that you regularly have to top up the pressure then this could indicate that you have a leak, which means it is time to book an engineer.   
 
Having a Powerflush  
Over the years, sludge, rust, and other debris accumulate in most central heating systems. A powerflush is a cleaning process that removes any dirt, sludge, or debris from your heating system.
